Inside Insights: Hong Kong Part 1
Hey all,
been back from HongKong for 3 days or so and here I am, going to give you the FULL INSIGHTS of the trip. Part 1 of the Inside Insights gives you the magnificent and breathe-taking view of the various scenery and views of Hong Kong.
Let's fly away......

My buddies sending me off at Changi Terminal one. Thanks to Hui, Nes, En and Benny for taking their precious time off bed on a comfy rainy day.
JETSTARASIA

Cotton wool clouds. Can I eat them?

Yes, am flying alone on JetstarAsia. Experience on Budget Airline? well, for me, I am quite particular about comfy level especially leg room. With my height, its really uncomfortable. Luckily I was taking the window seat and there's no one sitting beside me, thus, able to slant 45degrees and avoid leg cramps. If you're a budget traveller, well, service and quality is rated average. But after this flight to and fro, I would spend extra cash on better airlines and won't consider flying budget airline again.
Once I've reached HKIA, I was a little worried about all the trouble of finding my way to the Airport Express train. Well, basically its just a few steps away and directly connected with the terminal. For HKD $300, you can enjoy 2 round trip Airport Express Train as well as unlimited MTR service for 3 consecutive days. Sorry. I didn't take any pictures for both my trip to and fro. I was exhausted.

Met up with Melis and all. Here's the bustling city with array with lights. These signboards really give me a real HONGKONG feel.
The MTR Service

Next day, took to the MTR to Lantau Island to the Great Buddha. Honestly, if given a choice, I had prefer to travel in HongKong MTR than Singapore's MRT. Firstly its alot safer. And platform on higher ground are secured with these glass doors and panels as well.
+PLUS+ The signboard on the train have arrows and lights telling you where the trains is heading to and which is the next stop. Unlike Singapore, where they merely announce, if you missed it, you're dead.

With the Great Buddha. There's a flight of stairs we have to climb before reaching the top. I've started training for IPPT in Hong Kong.

A view from the top. Nice?

Ariel and I. Behind is??????? *scratching my head*
Avenue of Stars

Went to the Avenue of Stars on the 2nd day. Basically, this a place just like Hollywood. Only difference, they featured the Asian well known artiste.

Andy Lau's hand print on the foot path. I still have plenty like Maggie Cheung, Jackie Chan, Anita Mui etc....
Speaking of Jackie Chan...

Solemn. Yes! I never even dream of meeting the Asia's Mr Big Nose here in Hong Kong. But we did. He's filming some Hong Kong tourism board advertisement I suppose.
And when the Night Falls.....

I wasn't too sure about the camera function for Night View. So this is the best. But need not say, the view was extravagant and simply gorgeous. Its so hard to explain..... you should see it for yourself.

The Hong Kong Art Muesem.

Melis and Ariel. Posing in front of a Bus Stand. Its special with the display techniques. Shoes are actually kept in there. Zoom in please................ Almost forget, their MTR station advertisement are display on LCD screen instead of Static ones we see in Singapore.

Ernest and I outside a traditional GUI LING GAO SHOP. Food will be featured in the part 2 of Inside Insights.

The MUST see Hong Kong tram. Amazing. =)
Ocean Park

Spent almost a day at the Ocean Park on day 3. It has a range of rides, however, getting from place to place can be a tedious task. WHY?? Its built on a mountain, the route is enough to kill. We went to the Underwater World, Shark Aquariam, took some rides, see PANDAs first time in my life, watch the brillant and intelligent Dolphin performance, buy souvenirs.......... uncountable.....

On the ferris wheel.

SHARKS!!!

Ariel and I took the challenge. The Cockscrew which nearly break my neck.

The Mine train. Screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm................

The main lead of Ocean Park. A Seal lion I suppose. Anyway, Ariel and I was lucky enough to be given a chance to snap the very last shot with him.

The Panda. Cute right. There's 2. One is called An-an and one is called Jia Jia. And after I've finished blogging, I would be part of them too. coz its 1:46am already. I am Chang Chang. hahahahaha. (-_-")
Victoria Peak

We took the Asia's oldest tram ride to the top of Victoria Peak. The ride was so steep that you'll be almost locked in your seat throughout the journey.
The Madame Tussaud Wax Museum.

"Ah-ta" He's the legendary Bruce Lee. Standing beside him makes me feel like a complete idiot. Look at my face. It tells the story.

Woooo... Sexy Marilyn Monroe with her famous pose.

My oh my. Who can resist taking pictures with Mr 23. He's Beckham, David Beckham. Simply gorgeous.

Oopx. Anita Mui poking me.............

Did I tell you that George Bush is my Personal Assistant. He merely do filing and some mendous task in my office everyday. As if.............

Young and Vibrant J-Popstar. Ayumi Hamasaki. She's featured in the Museum as well.
When the night falls.........

I see Hong Kong with Eyes Wide Open. Its simply amazing. I can't describe the feeling when I saw it. *Pinch me* I've just came into this world....
Lan Kwee Fong

We also went to Lan Kwee Fong. A Famous clubbing and Pubbing area in HongKong. Almost like Mohammad Sultan.

Wong Tai Sin Temple during day 4 of our trip. God Bless

This is where we live. Mong Kok.

Our Hotel. The crew who made this trip soooo exciting. All thanks to them. =)

The very last day when I am waiting for my flight back to SIN. Melis and all had already fly back while i'm there, all alone...... *sniff sniff*

Can't see me?! Well, the cabin light are off to make our flight more comfortable.
That's all for now..
Looking for food?
Smell something?
Part 2 coming right up!
